In the last 8 years Daan Duijm (pronounced as duu-jum) has worked in 4 different countries in the last 8 years. Starting his career as a teambuilding instructor for an outdoor adventure company, he has worked for Disney Cruise in the US, a theme park in Penang in Malaysia, in Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai and currently is manager in Legoland Malaysia. Daan has CPR and AED certifications and Lifeguard instructor from 2 different companies and is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Manager. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years of which the last 4 in Management, Daan has a strong knowledge of the European, Middle East and Asia Markets and as young professional very dedicated to improving the industry and sharing knowledge.

■ Established his own webdesign company at the age of 19. Daan Design has an international webdesign and social media portfolio of more than 50 clients.
■ Being promoted to Operations Manager of the 3th most popular Outdoor Theme park in Malaysia (ESCAPE, Penang) after a 4 month internship.
■ Working a year on Disney Cruise Line as Fitness Director in Bahama’s, Caribbean and Florida. Doubling the Fitness Sales Revenue over a period of 8 months.
■ Graduating with a double degree in Sports as Military Sports Coordinator and Swimming. Certified and work experience as Fitness Instructor, Running Coach, and Personal Trainer
■ Winning the Management Game Overall Creativity Award during Bachelor Studies in Leisure among 400+ competitors.
■ Graduating as one of the top 5 students of the year for his Associate Degree in Tourism Management.
■ Having had the opportunity to travel the world and meet some amazing people and learn some incredible valuable life and business lessons.
